Leyard Opto-Electronic Co Ltd was formerly known as Beijing Leyard Electronics Technology Co Ltd, and was founded on April 21st, 1995. In November 2010, the Company was restructured and became a limited shareholding company in structure before the marketplace.

Since its debut, the Company has been focusing on the design, production and distributions of LED products and its ancillary systems domestically and abroad. On the other hand, we have a dedicated team of R&D professionals in house focusing on the convergence of the state of art products and platforms to address the ever growing and changing market demands on any new and energy efficient LED based products to come from time to time. In addition, the company to date has six main categories of products, ranging from full color based LED displays; VMS display systems; novel or featured based display solutions; LED TV of P2.5 & P3.1; LED Lighting products and solutions; LED back lit based systems etc.

Numerically speaking, since our inception in 1995 we have in perspective, installed a total of 5000+ projects and that equating to a half million plus of LED based displays and its ancillary systems nationally and overseas. With our years of operations, we are famed in the marketplace as the leading industry pioneer and leader in China. Our RND efforts, broad range of quality products provisioned, and an experienced and strong post sales supporting team covering our customers globally, customers sectors of intra and intercity rail systems; highways; civil aviations; sport; media industry; finance; business entities; and various government sectors are widely covered and instituted.

Years on, we have covered and penetrated the market well with our brand name excelled through major national events like the 50/60th national day of the PRC; served the BJ 2008 Olympic where more than 1 billion pairs of eyeballs witnessing our LED scroll and the iconic LED Olympic Rings in motion with applause; the CCTV national program nights; the National Games of China, the T3 BJ national airport; the top 3 train terminals in BJ; and other major shopping malls found in BJ and other national cities.

By the time where the PRC embracing its 60th birthday in 2009, with our culminations in product strengths and event management skills including audio visual, the Company was invited by the national organizing committee of the PRC, to have installed a 3 out of 4 in total number of screens that being founded in the Tiananmen Square, together with another live casting super large screen in turn being received with Award on '2009 LED Engineering & Applications Excellence in China', plus a large stripe screen flanking there in the Tiananmen that, on an integral basis, vividly splashing and spelling out the splendors of the national day activities then. In recognition of these unparalleled contributions made, the Company Leyard was subsequently awarded 'Outstanding Contribution award of the PRC 60th Anniversary' and others by respective national organizing committees, all of its supporting on the 60th national day activities. Whereas for the 2008 BJ Olympic LED Ground Screen that was working in conjunction with the LED Scroll as constructed by the Company, we received awards, from the respective Governmental authorities, besides others, 'BJ First Class Award in Science & Technology', '2008 LED Engineering & Applications Excellence in China'. Finally in 1999, during the PRC's 50th anniversary, we debuted the first ever in the world, outdoor moving LED screen that goes with live video filmed.
