Precautions of Indoor LED Display

  • Since LEDs and CMOS integrated circuits are static-sensitive devices, you need to be careful to prevent static electricity when using LED modules. Take the following precautions:
    • Personnel who come into contact with the product must wear grounded electrostatic bracelets or electrostatic gloves;
    • The switching power supply casing, box body, screen, etc. are strictly grounded, and the grounding resistance is required to be ≤10 ohms, and inspections are carried out every six months;
    • Various tools during the assembly process must be strictly grounded.
  • In order to prevent improper use of power supply from reducing the service life of the module or burning the module, the following precautions should be strictly observed when connecting the LED module power supply:
    • Firstly,use a dedicated switching power supply for the LED display. The module requires DC 4.5V input and is not allowed to be directly connected to 220V, otherwise the entire screen module will be burned;
    • Additionally,when installing the LED module, please pay attention to the correct wiring of the power port. The positive and negative poles must correspond; if the positive and negative poles are connected reversely, the power must be cut off in time to avoid damaging the components;
    • Furthermore,the operating voltage of the module should not exceed its maximum allowable operating voltage of 5.5V.
  • When cleaning the surface of the LED module, do not use unknown chemical liquids to avoid damaging or corroding the LED.For example:
    • When cleaning the LED lamp, use a clean soft rag dipped in alcohol to wipe it gently, and wait until it is dry before using it;
    • When cleaning the kit, use a clean soft rag dipped in water and wipe it gently. No water marks will remain after wiping, and it must be dried before use.
  • It is not recommended to use magnetic installation for modules in areas of -10°C and below. The deformation of the module will affect the flatness of the display. Screw locks must be used for installation.
